Well-designed photovoltaic systems can significantly reduce electricity costs, including for low-income consumers. In many cases, savings can reach around 70% on the monthly residential electricity bill, depending on consumption patterns and installed capacity.
With the continuous expansion of Brazil’s distributed solar generation market, installers, EPC companies, and system owners are increasingly focused on system safety, operational flexibility, and long-term service support.
In response to these evolving demands, Areswatt announced the launch of a microinverter with power of up to 2500 W, 60 V low-voltage modules, and rapid shutdown solutions. The technologies were designed for commercial and industrial photovoltaic applications in the Brazilian market and were introduced in March.

Areswatt’s microinverter was developed for residential rooftops and small commercial photovoltaic systems. With a maximum output power of up to 2500 W, each unit can support up to four photovoltaic modules, allowing more flexible system layouts while reducing the number of devices required on site.
The microinverter also helps minimize energy losses caused by shading, different orientations, and module mismatch. The product uses an integrated die-cast aluminum housing with a fully encapsulated design, increasing resistance to humidity, dust, and temperature variations.
In addition, the low-voltage direct current design (maximum 60 V) contributes to improved operational safety. The microinverter also enables remote management through mobile and desktop platforms.
System performance can be monitored through the Ares Cloud mobile app and the Ares Web desktop platform, allowing installers and system owners to simplify commissioning, improve operational visibility, and reduce the need for on-site maintenance.

On the safety side, Areswatt also offers a smart rapid shutdown device, capable of disconnecting photovoltaic circuits in less than 30 seconds during emergency situations, with the goal of increasing safety on the DC side across different photovoltaic application scenarios.
The solution is suitable not only for residential rooftops, but also for more complex commercial and industrial rooftops, large ground-mounted solar plants, simple rooftop systems, and small off-grid installations. This applicability allows installers and EPC companies to adopt a standardized safety architecture across different project types.

Rapid shutdown devices are available in several configurations, including 1-to-2, 1-to-4, and 1-to-6 module connections, enabling more flexible system design according to project scale and layout requirements.
With a maximum operating current of 25A, the system allows fast voltage reduction at the module level during emergencies, improving safety during maintenance activities and incident response.
The company also states that it is continuously strengthening its after-sales support capacity in Brazil, working with authorized installation and technical service partners. This local support structure helps ensure proper installation practices, faster technical responses, and reliable long-term operation.
In a price-sensitive market, Areswatt states that it positions its microinverter and rapid shutdown solutions as cost-effective options, combining reliable performance with competitive pricing.
