Areswatt has announced the launch of the AW-MIP1.8 microinverter, a model developed to serve residential photovoltaic systems and small commercial projects requiring more compact solutions.
According to the manufacturer, the unit is designed for rooftop installations with limited space and for retrofit projects, expanding the company's microinverter portfolio to suit various installation profiles.
The new model complements the 2,500 W microinverter previously launched by the company and integrates with Areswatt's smart monitoring ecosystem. Compared to the 2,500 W model, the AW-MIP1.8 is more affordably priced, making it better suited for home use and scenarios involving lower-wattage PV modules. The company's strategy is to expand its range of solutions to accommodate projects of varying sizes and configurations.

The AW-MIP1.8 features a maximum AC output power of 1,875 W and supports up to four photovoltaic modules distributed across two independent MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) channels.
